School Leagues & Tournaments

Girls indoor 5 aside leagues run annually at MFCiC.

Age Groups are as follows:

Under 9/10/11 (Combined)              League usually runs from end of September to    

                                                    middle December.

Under 7/8 (Combined)                     League usually runs from Mid/Late January to Easter

Under 5/6 (Combined)                     League usually runs from late April to end of June.

The leagues are played on our indoor Astroturf surfaces each Tuesday between 4.00 – 5.30pm.

We will soon be starting an indoor 5 a side competition for years 5 and 6 based at Eston.  The competition will again consist of two leagues each containing 12 teams.

We envisage that the league will start on the 25 February 2009 with fixtures being played on Wednesdays between 3.30 and 5.00pm.  Each team will play two fixtures per evening, with schools attending each week.

A squad of seven will be able to be used with roll on roll off substitutes (full rules, regulations and fixtures available upon application).

The cost will be £100.00 per team.  This covers the teams 22 fixtures over two terms with a final presentation evening.  The cost is the same whether you fulfil your fixtures or not.

The winners of each league will receive a Trophy to retain at the school for 12 months.  Individual players will receive trophies for 1^st and 2^nd in their respective leagues.  On completion of the leagues, winners of league 1 will play winners of league 2.
