
Daniel aged 7 won our In Centre player of the year award for 2009.
Daniel as been enjoying the coaching since he was 4 years old, he is also keen on Karate, swimming as well as being a massive Star Wars Fan.
He attends Normanby Primary School and looks up to Stuart Downing as he is someone from the local area who has played for the Boro.
For winning this award Daniel was treated to a VIP trip to Middlesbrough Match against Blackpool. Although he was disappointed with the result he said "I really enjoyed walking down the tunnel like the players"
Daniel is hoping that England can win like himself and can lift the World Cup this summer.
His coach Joanne Bullen who nominated Daniel said "He was a very deserving winner and was pleased that he got a reward for his effort and commitment to improving himself as a footballer over the past year"
