Invitation-only sessions that are held every Monday; this focuses solely on ball work with the hope it improves a players technique, training alongside others with similar abilities.
If anyone stands out at any of the regular coaching courses that MFCiC run through the region’s schools and coaching programmes, they will receive an invite to come down for extra training. Outfield players and Goalkeepers train separate to enhance development to the full.
The outfield sessions are run by MFC academy coaches David McTiernan and James McGlynn and the goalkeepers by MFC academy goalkeeping coach Paul Clements and Darlington academy goalkeeping coach Craig Longstaff.
