OCR Ready, Steady Work
Ready, Steady Work is a new level 1 or 2 qualification accredited by OCR developed to encourage learners to enter and progress in employment. The qualification offers core employment skills ranging from interviews and practical tasks to be financially capable. The skills that learners develop through Ready, Steady Work will help them in everyday life as well as help them to prepare and succeed in employment.

Unit 5 – Learning about the range of opportunities in work The learners will work through exciting, vibrant and fun booklets following characters Doc and Henry as they take them through their worksheets. The course aims to challenge the learners and to get them thinking about what they want to do with their future.
Doc and Henry help the learner to build a portfolio of their own strengths and abilities, and provide guidance on how to get where they want to be.
