Core Programme

The Core Programme is an Entry Level 3 qualification accredited by OCR which explores the running of Middlesbrough Football Club as a business.

Its is a 10 week course (1 session per week) upon completion of which students will gain an OCR qualification in Business and Enterprise.

Core Programme allows students to use a hands on approach as they explore different factors that affect Middlesbrough Football Club, including staffing, customers, advertising, ticketing systems and complaints.

This course has proven to be a huge success with students, who enojoy using a sucessful business at the heart of the Teesside community as a focus for their learning.

At the end of each qualification students are invited to a 'Celebration Event' held in one of the executive rooms at the Riverside Stadium, to recognise their efforts throughout the 10 week course and reward their achievements. At the event students receive a certificate from a "special guest" to congratulate them on their achievements.
